CalTurf was founded over 30 years ago and has been serving Norther California ever since. With farms in the Sacramento Area and Fairfield, the sod business runs in the family and it has always been our goal to provide the highest quality sod. We offer fresher sod than any big box store can, at a fraction of the cost. 30 years in business means that we have had 30 years to perfect our sod recipe to make sure that it is the greenest and most drought resistant grass available. Our sod is a combination 90% Fescue and 10% Bluegrass so your lawn not only stays greener for longer but it is safe for your children and pets. Freshness has always been important to us, my grandfather cut sod to order, my father cut sod to order, and even today, here at CalTurf, we carry on that family tradition.
